Agia Marina Kelokedaron

Agia Marina Kelokedaron. Agia Marina Kelokedaron is a lovely small village in the Paphos district. Its average altitude is 490 meters and it is situated 26 km north-eastern of the centre of Paphos. The wild vegetation and the surrounding Forest slopes are really impressive. The population of this little graphical village is 39 residents and their major occupation is farming and agriculturing. The women are still making traditional products as Halloumi cheese, soutzoukkos, Palouzes and kkiofterka, all made from fresh local ingredients. Very interesting sights are the Monastery of Panayia of Sinti which dominates the eastern side of the river Xeros and the church of Ayia Marina which located in the heart of the village. Is worth mentioning that a few of the residents of this small community were served in the first and second world war in several European countries.
